I bought my PX8 S2 directly from B&W and had them in my hands under 48 hours later. Free 2 day shipping.

The px8 s2 get noticeably more comfy after some time, needs to loosen up.

I don't own px8s2 but i do have px7s3 and i kinda dislike the heat it generates on the cup so easily. I rate myself the priority as in 1. Design 2. Comfort and 3rd is sound. I love 3 of these designs

I got these Px8 S2's a couple of weeks ago and I just don't take them off unless I have to. No pain. Some warmth as mentioned in the OP but not what the MXs did to me.

The px8 s2 sounds noticeably better with AptX Lossless

The PX8 S2 seems really good based on what I have read about it, and I really love the look and materials, but the ANC seems weak. I have not yet found a dealer to test it, but is it really weak, or i

It's hard to believe the H100s ear cups are smaller and less comfortable than the Px8 S2's. I also sent the H100s back for a different reason and kept the Px8 S2 but the earcups were huge on the H100s

They sit on your head quite firmly and they're not large. So if comfortable means easy to travel and move around with, absolutely. I can run with these, while Airpods Max fall off of my head.

I got my Px8 S2 today, I tested them against the Bathys MG only in a local store, I agree with you the MG are slightly better but they’re £999 in the UK vs £629 for the S2’s, Is it worth the extra £30

r/headphonespositive3

I'd give comfort and looks to the B&W, but the MG's are on a whole different level.

I also just got my PX8 S2 and I must say I'm very disappointed in the sound. I listen to mostly rock and I agree that distorted guitar parts sounded too distorted. But I am even more annoyed with the

Yeah, while B&W is definitely not my 100% preferred tuning, sounds like you like it even less! ... I think why this works is that there's too much upper bass/lower mid in B&W and it muddies up a much

I heard binaural recording samples of the PX8S2 and I came to the same conclusion. Harsh treble to give the sensation of clarity, which make them sound sibilant and fatiguing.

r/headphonesnegative2

Oh broski I love my px8 s2 but holy shit I understand your concern with treble especially with rock songs the highs actually hurt my ears, I can’t believe how harsh it can sound.

r/headphonesnegative1

The sound was absolutely terrible, boomy bass drowning out the other frequencies, shouty mids, harsh cutting treble. ... On the PX8 S2’s I had to take them off my head, it was a super harsh deafening
