HiFiMan SUSVARA

Slightly different tuning/presentation and maybe a small bit more detail. I think the largest change would be the ergonomics.

I didn't hear enough of a difference to think I was going to miss out not having one. I did enjoy it but that was because I already love my HE1K :)

I think the Susvara is long overdue for a price drop.

The Susvara is detailed and extremely precise, but less analytic than some of the other cans HFM is known for. Not my jam personally, but it and the LCD complement each other well!

Yes the susvara is definitely not for everyone.

I have yet to hear the Susvara, but I'm enjoying what I have, as you might imagine.

I think the Susvara will be a pretty good complement if you want a more relaxed experience.

Both very special headphones for different reasons. Each roughly a decade old, but have truly stood the test of time. ...a used great condition LCD4 or Susvara in the 2-3k range is a great deal

Yep, these last two weeks alone I've seen at least 5 susvaras pop up for sale for 3k or less.

I've never heard such honest and realistic headphones as the Susvara. It doesn't sound artificial; the instruments sound exactly as they should. The detail and resolution are impressive and truly brin

the Susvaras are indeed special in a way that requires you to really sit down and listen.

The funny thing about the susvara is how many owners basically describe it as natural, laid back, not offensive, not exciting, etc. Which i agree with, by the way. Just not exactly the most evocative
