The CUE1 is a looker, they are light and comfortable with tight bass, but everything else about the sounds sucks ass - mids, vocals, synths, hi hats, percussions, everything sounds muddy as hell

I think it depends entirely on whether you want to mix in headphones or via your speakers. My speakers are on the smaller side, it’s fun to blast music but my nicer headphones give a far more accura
I got the beyerdynamics 1990 pro 250ohm … I’d suggest just get any cheap headphones that work. HD25 looks crappy to me but seem popular.
All this list proves is that aiaiai have sent out a bunch of headphones to popular DJs. It’s good marketing.
Same with SOL Republic. Back in the early 2010s there was a huge promotional push to get these headphones to DJs and producers like Steve Aoki and that get co-opted by emerging artists.
They’re actually solid though, and I got tired of having the headband break on my headphones and I either be forced to buy a new pair or order a replacement and solder it myself.
It would be nice if you included data sources because you threw all together DJ oriented devices and headphones some DJs use only while producing their own music. Example: Sub Focus was using HD25s at

If the point of this sub is mainly to help beginners then... I started with a set of Audio-Technica \~$300AUD - the sound was ok (I thought) but chose them mainly because I rated the camo design.
