I've found the ergonomic foam back works well enough and with a vacuum bag is portable enough for a checked suitcase when flying. But a reasonable office chair is a much needed amenity when nomading.

I set up my portable 4K monitor at a hotel or apartment or where-ever if I am spending more than around 4 working days. It then stays there for however long I am there.

Portable projector? / hotel tv... or vr headset. some other options that could work for you? Also, an eReader tablet can dubble as a screen.

Having a 20ft HDMI cable in the backpack often saves the day, yeah. Also loved hotel TVs that allowed connection as wireless monitors.

Laptop screen and portable isn't the same as two huge monitors but it's a huge efficiency improvement over just the laptop screen.

I hate tilting my head to the side; looking up and down is much more natural and comfortable for extended periods.

Hmm, I’ve had a portable monitor for years and it’s pretty easy to use. It fits in an old, padded laptop sleeve and setting it up and taking it down takes all of 5 minutes.
