Braun still makes an updated version of this model, it is branded under Oral-B and it's like $50. ... I had the same one you have and it lasted me over 10 years.

it does a much better job than the traditional electric toothbrushes that only rotate the head a bit fast

Now I have to push the botton like 3-4 times to turn it off. Apparently it has like modes or settings that I don't use.

Oral B make good electric toothbrushes that will be a significant improvement over a manual toothbrush

round-headed electric toothbrushes are the best and there’s no difference between the cheap Oral-B ones and the expensive ones (for purely dental hygiene)

I only do the flossing and brushpicks once a day, brushing twice - once with an electric and once with a manual.
