A Saeco Xelsis Error 5 signifies an issue with the water flow, usually caused by trapped air in the water circuit, a clogged brew group, or a blocked flow meter.
My Xelsis Deluxe is still going strong 4yrs in. It won’t d/l new firmware anymore, but that’s ok— very happy with the version it got “stuck” with.
Have you ever tried kitchen aid vs. the xelsis and or a jura? In your opinion did you feel the kitchen aid produced a better coffee than xelsis?

I think we aren’t as happy with it because the Xelsis was both super easy to use and made excellent coffee, with the added bonus of being easy to clean(it rinsed before turning off and the milk clean
The Xelsis milk carafe was larger and worked better. The self-cleaning and overall use of the carafe on the Xelsis is just better.
Note: I’m so happy I got the Xelsis over the Phillips model
I believe the stainless steel-plastic hybrid tube the Xelsis uses makes it easier since the long metal section doesn’t need a special connector on the milk container.
Anyway, the Saeco Xelsis is a GREAT machine but I also am about to buy (again - sent it back 1st time for because I HAVE this great machine) the Bosch 800 VeroCafe.
