I loved my XTs... superb. But I moved to the BQ16/BE30000 to get all the VLAN/Smart Master functionality. Main Network was so much better.

Keep your ONT plugged into 10G WAN/LAN1 on your primary BQ16. (This will be your incoming service connection)
The BE30000 is the Best Buy exclusive 3-pack of the BQ16 Pro. They are the same and take the same firmware etc.

Fwiw, i had issue with Asus BQ16 Pro mesh system (2 units) where my Sonos devices (Arc/Symfonisk surrounds and Playbar/Sub) would disconnect and show as "not connected" immediately after being paired
