I use my own router and just kept theirs in my closet. No extra fees at all.

Even if you have their router I tell people to remove it. Frontier would get mad at sales people for not adding it, we were basically forced to add it to every account.

I use my own router but have theirs stored just in case they need it for troubleshooting. The install tech recommended this. I’ve had to use it once in like 5 years. No extra charges.

Then they just send one of us field techs out there. We'll verify it's good thru the ONT then if we have time try to troubleshoot your router
