I too have the Pocketbook Era Color and I immediately knew that I want to install KOReader. The default PBReader is just lacking in terms of customisation. KOReader offers so much more.

Just to be sure is the speed just noticeable on era or its also noticeable in era color ( processors are different)?

I will say I have tried to read color comics on it and found the experience subpar. I'm not sure that color eink is really there yet when it comes to complex images.

7 inch is still okay to read them, but when mangas get a bit more frames in one page or contents to read, it gets a little frustrating zooming constantly (for me at least).

I have a Pocketbook Era Color and I would not recommend its screen size for Comics. Mangas perhaps as they tend to have a smaller page size.

"LCP DRM Profil 2.x." was explicitly mentioned in a 2024 update log of the Era, and the Era Color came out in 2024, so it was possible already supported at release.
