I had the same issue with one of my USB-C Pro Docks. I updated Mac OS while connected and the dock didn’t reconnect. ... I wasn’t able to get it working again so considered it bricked
The reason I’m curious is because I what to know if the 2 year rumour of the dock failing is true. I’ve seen it mentioned over this site and other places on the net.
If you are not getting any power to any port on the dock, that does sound like a power issue. The USB ports with the battery logo should stay actively powered and able to charge connected devices even

FWIW, I have a Caldigit TS4 and it has left a bitter taste in their quality. Ports stopped working over time, I think I only have one working TB port on there now. Any time there's a significant bump
I have a Sabrent Thunderbolt dock that I like with my Mac Studio, but I've used a number of different options and thought they all worked more or less fine.

SONNETTECH is a very good manufacturer for TB docks… I’ve been using the ECHO 13 for over a year with NO issues..

I have a Thunderbolt Dock from OWC, but if I were buying today, I would probably go for the CalDigit.
I have heard of OWC and their reputation seems as good as CalDigit goes within the Apple ecosystem.
