I have the OG Deviate Nitro Elite's and I agree with everything you said about the 3rd edition. I know Puma has tinkered with the midsole form since the 1st version, and it's now much livelier. Noneth
Highly recommend the Deviate Nitro Elite Trail shoes for any gravel and trail running/racing!
The DNE3 is probably the best race supershoe for training and even casual running. Like most Puma shoes except for their FR Series, the ride is more "natural" or "traditional" than most modern running
theres a deviate elite hyrox thats coming out soon that is tailored specifically for hyrox (stations and running) if ur looking for a more recent version of a hyrox shoe
I purchased Nitro 4 because of 2 reasons: wider and lighter than Nitro 3. I've read numerous reviews on the internet to size up when going for the Nitro 3 and I do believe that's absolutely right.
The elite 3 are very quick and responsive when running fast.. when running slower you won’t get much advantage out of them.. I even get sore feet when running slow in them..
Would you recommend I buy the regular Deviate Nitro 4 instead if I start to train on the treadmill? Do they work well for the 8 stations as well?
I just bought the elite and kind of regret it. I LOVED the deviate nitro 3 so thought it was a solid move but they are a fair bit narrower.

If you do decide to get it, keep it for your races or hard running sessions. I use the Puma velocity 4 for all my training then the deviete nitro elite for my races. It works well for me
I've only tried the Deviate Nitro 2 and DNE3 but have been very impressed with their performance and value. No question the Alphafly 1 and 3 are incredible shoes, but they $55 more expensive than the
Did you run Sidney and/or berlin in the non-elite deviate nitro 3s? How did it go?
I keep hearing and reading great things about this shoe. I would love to try out a pair, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. None of the local running shops carry Puma running sneakers.
