Being able to have the desk an inch or two lower for me vs. having my chair raised an inch or two higher was great.
the flexible height is a blessing in and of itself. Sit-stand desks can go high, but they also drop as low as 24".
The ability to fine-tune the sitting height is actually the secret benefit, most fixed desks are about two inches too high for the average person to sit ergonomically.
Id highly recommend the Uplift v3. I've had mine for a couple months and I'm loving it so far. Its super stable, can handle my dual monitor setup no problem and the engine goes up and down smoothly ev
I don't really stand at my standing desk at all. But it lets me have a desk that's the right sitting height for me. Since switching, my wrist and hand pains are almost completely gone.
There is a memory function for typically 2 electronic settings for the height. If you buy your own, make sure it has enough openings to allow the cables to pass through.
Standing desks are amazing. Risers for a sitting desk are shit. So if you want to try a standing desk go all in.
Standing desks absolutely have benefits. It’s not just about burning calories but about the effect a sitting position has on your body.
Standing desks can actually help with back pain if you alternate correctly. The idea isn’t just standing all day but switching positions so your muscles don’t get stiff.

Uplift v3 would be the best standing desk in that price range.
This is my #1 recommendation… most folks don’t even think about it because you wouldn’t really run into it unless you walked into Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc… this is easily one of the best standing desks
